    Turn on notifications when you want them. Pick how far away counts as “nearby” and get a ping when a truck enters your area.

    One download for everyone. Customers find trucks; approved drivers switch modes, go online when selling, and go offline for privacy.

Three simple steps — the same flow you'll see in the Swirl app after you sign up.

  1. Create your free account

    Sign up with email or Google, verify your email, and open the map — built for the GTA to start.

  2. Find trucks near you

    Allow location when you are ready, browse live trucks, tap one for photos and details, and get directions.

  3. Stay in the loop

    Enable nearby alerts in Settings, or send a booking request when you need a truck at your event.

For drivers

Run your truck on the same map customers use

Apply with your Toronto-area permits, get approved by our team, then flip to driver mode when you are ready to sell. Go online to appear on the live map; go offline and location sharing stops.

Good to know before you download

Is Swirl free?
Yes. Swirl is free for customers to find trucks and send booking requests. Drivers apply through the app; there is no subscription fee to browse the map.
Where does Swirl work?
We are launching in the Greater Toronto Area. The map shows trucks when drivers go online in supported areas.
Do I need an account?
Yes — a free account lets you save preferences, verify your email, use nearby alerts, and send booking requests.
How do nearby alerts work?
In Settings, turn on alerts and choose a radius (for example 500 m or 1 km). When an approved driver goes online within that distance, Swirl can notify you.
How do I become a driver?
Download the app, choose driver signup, and submit your business details and Toronto-area permits. We email you when your application is approved or if we need more information.
Can I use Google to sign in?
Yes. Swirl supports email/password and Google sign-in. Apple sign-in is not offered.
How do I get notified when the app launches?
Scroll to the download section on this page and leave your email. We'll send one message with App Store and Google Play links when Swirl goes live in the GTA.
