Overview
Swirl("we", "us") connects ice cream customers with mobile vendors. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information — email, display name, and authentication credentials when you sign up.
- Location data — when you use the map or opt into nearby alerts, we process your device location. Driver locations are shared publicly while online.
- Driver application documents — licenses, permits, and insurance uploaded during onboarding.
- Usage data — app interactions, session duration, and device tokens for push notifications.
How we use data
We use your information to show nearby trucks, send notifications you opt into, verify drivers, improve the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal location data.
Your choices
- Control location permissions in your device settings.
- Toggle nearby alerts in app settings.
- Drivers stop sharing location when they go offline.
- Request account deletion in app settings or by emailing us.
